Our team is devoted to providing quality service to our seniors.
Our Owner
Meet Wayne Mitchell, the owner of NoVa Senior Service, he started his healthcare career as a public health Paramedic–Advanced Life Support, then transitioned to corporate America for over 30 years, the last 10 years working closely with military families. He became interested in senior care after experiencing difficulties finding care for his own parents. This experience helped Wayne understand the life-changing stages seniors go through and gave him a desire to help seniors in his community.
Almost 10 years ago he opened Caring Senior Service of Northern Virginia providing in-home caregivers to assist seniors and their families. During this time his experience led him to discover that seniors and their families needed more service than having caregivers assisting them in their home. When they needed these other services, they had to start the trust process all over again with a new service provider.
Wayne created NoVa Senior Service to take all of the services and resources that are needed as we aged under one umbrella, keeping the trust of service and care they have come to know. By way of Boston, he now lives in Northern Virginia with his wife, has three children, and two fur babies. Wayne is proud to introduce the team that he feels are some of the bests in the senior care industry with the passion in helping to keep seniors healthy while aging in place wherever that may be.
